About Us

Jacobs Equity was founded by  Jeff Jacobs and Dr. Robert Jacobs. Jeff and Robert have worked for over a decade developing a practical implementation of best practice financial models and using portfolio simulations to analyze and optimize client portfolios.

Both Jeff and Robert were awarded full national fellowship to pursue graduate research in engineering at Stanford University, where they received a deep background in various disciplines that would later prove critical to their success as investors:

  • Analysis and modeling of complex multivariable systems
  • Numerical and statistical methods
  • Ability to understand and apply academic research while paying attention to its underlying assumptions and limitations when applied to real world problems

Jeff and Robert have over two decades combined investing experience. They employ the same strategies in their own personal investing that they use for Jacobs Equity clients.
